Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the sales team supporting our esteemed telecom client. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals in a B2B environment. Your role will involve conducting daily outbound calls to potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and presenting tailored telecom solutions that enhance their business operations.
Core Tasks:
- Daily Dialing: You will be required to make a set number of outbound calls each day to potential B2B clients, including cold calls to new leads and follow-ups with previous contacts.
- Qualifying Leads: Utilize effective questioning techniques to identify and qualify potential clients, assessing their needs, pain points, and interest in telecom solutions.
- Setting Appointments: Aim to book a specific number of meetings each week with qualified leads, ensuring alignment with the sales team’s objectives.
- Follow-up Strategy: Implement a systematic approach to follow up with leads who have shown interest but have not yet committed to a meeting.
- Utilizing Calendars: Collaborate with the sales team to effectively schedule meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are available.
- Negotiating Terms: Work with clients to negotiate terms and finalize contracts, ensuring satisfaction for both parties.
- Volume Targets: Set clear targets for the number of outbound calls, meetings booked, and deals closed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Performance Tracking: Use CRM tools to monitor performance against these targets, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Daily Reporting: Provide daily updates on call volume, meetings booked, and deals closed to the sales manager or team lead.
- Analyzing Success Rates: Regularly analyze call outcomes and conversion rates to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from team leads and management to refine outbound calling strategies and enhance overall performance.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in a sales or SDR role, ideally within the telecom, technology, or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in making outbound calls and effectively engaging with potential clients.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently.
- Strong active listening abilities to understand client needs, objections, and concerns.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking leads, calls, and meetings.
